Just as expectations are big in regards to which team will go all the way and claim Lord Stanley's Cup, there is also a heavty interest in who will produce the most points this year.
Ofcourse, around where i'm from , there's great hope that Henrick Sedin will have yet another outstanding season and yet again claim the Art Ross Trophy. But the fact of the matter is, there are plenty of players who were close last year, and plenty more up and comers this year. So who is it going to be?
One thing is for sure, there are quite a few names who will be in the race including; Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Steve Stamkos, the best player in the world Henrick Sedin, his twin Daniel, and maybe a few others such as Kovalchuk and Semin.
My bet is that Alex Ovechkin is in for around a 70 goal season and an 120 point season overall, i just think its time he blows up even further and shows us something we have'nt seen in quite some time, and this is coming from a vancouver fan.
The real reason i'm writing this blog post is because i want to know what you guys think! So please feel free to weigh in on the issue by selecting an option on the poll. ----------------------->
Look forward to see who you choose!

Blackhawk Down
Today i have put Blackhawk fans in the penalty box, they get 2 minutes for big heads.
It's that time of year again. Even though the NHL has only been closed down for a few months, it seems as though a whole year has passed since ive seen the puck hit the ice. Fortunately, the 2010-2011 season is just around the corner and as usual, i can smell the expectations in the air.
Expectations are great and all but i have to set a few things straight. Blackhawk fans, YOU WILL NOT REPEAT, I'm sorry, but the truth is, you have lost the main ingredient you had last year that enabled you to bring home the cup, and that is depth. I don't care that you think you have a new band of rookies coming in that will carry you magically to the Stanley Cup. It must be hard for you to realize that players who have not played in the NHL before NEED to develop before they can compete with top teams in the league. Just because a player slips on a Blackhawk jersery does not mean they will automatically play like kane, toews, or any other talented Blackhawk. My main point is, sure the Blackhawks have a chance of making the playoffs but COMMON people, they have been stripped down to a team who has nothing after their top 8 players. So please, lower your expectations Blackhawk fans, unless ofcourse you enjoy the feeling of dissapointment as much as mapleleaf fans do.

Well, i could go into alot more depth of why the hawks will not repeat but i'm sure if you have a little common sense you can see the many flaws in the logic of the hawks repeating.
